David Landwehr D.D.S., M.S.

After studying as an undergraduate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Dr. Landwehr earned his D.D.S. from the University of Minnesota in 1994. From there, he completed training in two dental specialties.  He first earned a M.S. degree and certificate in oral and maxillofacial pathology at The Ohio State University in 1997.  He then completed his specialty training in endodontics at the University of Michigan in 1999.

Dr. Landwehr has been providing specialty care in endodontics in Madison since 1999. Though his practice focuses on endodontics, his dual certification in endodontics and oral pathology makes him uniquely qualified to diagnose sources of oral pain.  Dr. Landwehr has presented case studies and research findings both nationally and internationally. In addition, he has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals and served as an evidence reviewer for the American Dental Association.  He is also the Chief of Endodontics for the Meriter Hospital general practice residency program.
